Drying time refers to the duration required for the preservative to fully penetrate and dry on the wooden surface. The ideal drying time ensures maximum protection of the wood against moisture, mold, insects, and UV rays. An insufficiently dried preservative can cause unwanted stickiness, discoloration, or inadequate protection on the wood. Additionally, performing further treatments or using the wood before the preservative is fully dry can shorten the lifespan of the application. Therefore, waiting for the preservative to fully dry is crucial to maintain the durability and aesthetics of the wood.
Dust-free drying time is 40-45 minutes.
Sanding drying time and overcoat application time is 3-4 hours.
Stacking drying (curing) time is +8 hours.
