Drying time, refers to the time required for the protector to fully penetrate and dry on the wooden surface. The ideal drying time ensures that the protector provides maximum protection against moisture, mold, insects, and UV rays. A protector that hasn’t dried sufficiently can lead to undesired stickiness, discoloration, or inadequate protection on the wood. Additionally, applying other treatments or using the wood before the protector has fully dried can shorten its effectiveness. Therefore, it’s crucial to allow the protector to dry completely to maintain the wood’s durability and aesthetics.
Dust hold dry-time is between 25-35 minutes.
Touching dry-time is between 60-70 minutes.
Sanding dry-time and overcoat application time are between 3-4 hours.
Stacking dry-time (curing) is 24-36 hours.
